We are a small flat-roof team with roots in southwest Missouri. Each person has a clear role, but we work together around the same standard: inspect carefully, prepare thoroughly, and leave the property owner with a clear understanding of the work.
Daniel grew up near Republic and began working on low-slope commercial roofs early in his roofing career. He started Flat Roof Restoration Springfield after seeing too many repairable roofs pushed toward premature replacement. Away from roofing, he enjoys early-morning fishing at Stockton Lake and rebuilding older utility trailers in his garage.
Marcus is a Springfield-area native who spent years in building maintenance before moving full-time into flat roofing. That background made him especially attentive to drainage, rooftop equipment, penetrations, and the way roof problems affect the rest of a building. He coaches a local youth baseball team in the spring and is usually the first person on the crew checking the forecast before a project starts.
Emily lives in the Nixa area and focuses on roof preparation, detail work, repairs, and restoration application. She is known on the team for being particularly methodical around seams, curbs, and flashing transitions. Outside work, she maintains a large vegetable garden and spends fall weekends hiking trails around the Ozarks.
We start by looking at the roof rather than assuming the answer from its age. Daniel usually leads the initial condition discussion, Marcus helps plan access and job sequencing, and Emily focuses heavily on the preparation and detail work that restoration depends on.
Before broader resurfacing or waterproofing begins, we address agreed defects and make sure the surface is prepared for the intended material. We also keep the property owner informed when conditions uncovered during the work differ from what was visible at the start. That communication is especially important on older roofs where previous repairs or hidden moisture can change the scope.
